Palestinian Groups Urge Participation in ‘Ramadan Storm’ Global Campaign
The campaign includes sit-ins and protests in various parts of the world during the holy month of Ramadan in solidarity with Gaza and Palestine.
The Israeli regime launched a genocidal war on the Gaza Strip on Oct. 7, killing at least 30,410 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injuring 71,700 others.
There has also been mass destruction, displacement and conditions for a famine as a result of the Israeli regime's war and siege on the coastal enclave.
In a statement on Sunday, the Palestinian groups called on people to participate in the ‘Ramadan Strom’ campaign at the national, regional and global levels, Ray al-Yawm website reported.
They underlined the need for support for the issue of Palestine and pressure on the Zionist regime to stop its genocidal war on Gaza.
They also called for expanding boycotts against Israel in various forms.

The groups reiterated the Palestinian people’s right to freedom and self-determination as well as their right to return to their motherland and establish an independent state with the holy city of al-Quds as its capital.
The statement further slammed the Zionist regime’s continued building of illegal settlements and recurrent raids on cities and towns in the West Bank, as well as the regime’s policy of judaization of al-Quds and desecration of Islamic and Christian sanctities in the holy city.
